Hundreds of athletes will head to Southern Alberta to watch alpine, freestyle, cross country skiing, snowboarding and biathlon events at the 2019 Canada Winter Games……if the bid to hold the games is successful!
The 2019 Winter Games Bid Tour is coming to Lethbridge on 21st August, 2014! Should the 2019 Canada Winter Games Bid be successful, Crowsnest Pass and Pincher Creek will house more than 500 athletes, coaches and officials in Livingstone Range School Division #68 schools. Castle Mountain Resort will host alpine skiing, snowboarding and freestyle events, and the Crowsnest Pass / Allison Lake Provincial Recreation Area will be home to Cross-country Skiing and Biathlon. Thousands of spectators and families are expected to visit and cheer on their teams.
The Lethbridge Bid Committee need your support. They are looking for volunteers both on 21st August and by pledging your support for the games in 2019.
