High River AB: The Happy Trails pathway between Centre Street and 7 Street N.W. is anticipated to be closed for four to five days beginning later this week. The closure is to accommodate the Golf Course and Lineham Dike tie in work.
More than seven kilometres of dikes have been constructed in High River this year to protect the community against high water flow levels, such as what was experienced in the 2013 flood. The diking structures will ultimately protect to 2013 water levels plus one metre.
