The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society hiking guide takes a food columnist out to enjoy a beautiful day in nature. They identify and taste wild edible berries, leaves and plants near the Sibbald Flats area of southern Alberta, and explore various ecosystems in the wilderness.
CPAWS created this video to celebrate connecting to our Alberta parks and wilderness areas through sustainable outdoor recreation, and to raise awareness about the first survey to measure Albertans’ outdoor recreation activities and their values toward Wilderness. See the CPAWS website for more information.
It’s thanks to the following sponsors this video was make possible: The Alberta Real Estate Foundation, The Edmonton Community Foundation, Mountain Equipment Co-op, and Alberta Culture and Tourism Community Initiatives Program.
