Todd Schmekel, Assistant Superintendent of Learning Services, shared the recent success story of a student in highlighting the benefits of flexible programming in FSD to meet the varying learning needs of all students. In this case, a student who scored a phenomenal 95% on the written portion of her Social Studies diploma exam credits FSD’s high school HUB program for providing her with the flexibility needed to continue her studies amidst some life challenges.
The HUBs are transition zones located in all three of our high schools where students can access flexible learning and support. Any learner, regardless of their ability, program, schedule or personal situation is welcome to utilize the HUB to complete various high school courses.
