Fort McMurray, AB – The RCMP in Fort McMurray, supported by RCMP members from other Detachments throughout Alberta, are fully involved in supporting the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo’s Emergency Operations Centre (REOC) response to the fires in the region, including the City of Fort McMurray. The RCMP role at this time is to support search and rescue and evacuation efforts as directed by the REOC.
