The Regional Eye Centre is also affiliated with the University of Alberta’s Department of Ophthalmology in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, and as such, a major teaching and research facility. These donations will enable the Regional Eye Centre at the Royal Alexandra Hospital to provide services to patients with the diagnosis, treatment and care they need to recover from conditions such as acute infections, keratoconus, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal conditions, hereditary eye disease, neuro-ophthalmology and trauma cases.
In being named a FELLOW, Diane joins many others whose generosity ensures the continuation of the Regional Eye Centre patient services and research. Thousands of Albertans and more will benefit from these programs.
