Have you or your family been out of the country in the past 14 days or been in contact with someone who has been out of the country and has symptoms, or have symptoms yourself?
If yes, we recommend the following:
- Self-isolate (stay at home, do not go to school, work, or social gatherings), even if you are feeling well, until 14 days after contact or after you have returned home.
- Call Health LInk at 811 if you have health concerns or for more information
- COVID-19 symptoms range from common to severe respiratory illnesses and include: fever, cough, difficulty breathing and pneumonia with kidney failure and death in severe cases.
- Health officials recommend Canadians use good hygiene practices, such as frequent hand washing with soap and water, avoid touching face with unwashed hands, avoid touching surfaces or objects that have been in contact with potential ill persons.
