HIGH RIVER, AB: Starting Tuesday, June 2 there will be a partial lane closure along 1 Street S.W. between 4 and 5 Avenues S.W to allow crews to lower a gas line. Traffic will be reduced to one north-bound lane.
The work will be performed by ATCO and is a prerequisite before phase 2 of downtown construction can begin. Work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete (weather dependent).
Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution, obey posted construction signage, and watch for heavy equipment and vehicles working in the area.
