CALL FOR REGISTRATIONS
First Annual Foothills Youth Short Play and Monologue Festival
March 2nd, 2019
Goodger-Pink Family Theatre, along with Alberta Dance Academy are pleased to present the First Annual Youth Short Play and Monologue Festival. Our drama and theatre loving youth need more performance opportunities in our community, so here we go! The festival will be held on March 2, 2019 at The Rotary Performing Arts Centre in Okotoks for anyone 18 years of age or younger. Schools, extra-curricular or private class groups, individuals, etc are all welcome to submit.
Registration Requirements:
- All registrations must be submitted no later than January 25th, 2019 with a completed registration form and the non-refundable registration fee.
- A copy of the script must be sent by January 25th, 2019. Original scripts are welcome, but must be sent in by the deadline for approval.
- Make cheques payable to Goodger-Pink Society.
- Performances must be no longer than 20 minutes.
- Sets, props and technical requirements must be minimal.
- Each performance must be set up in 5 minutes and struck in 5 minutes.
- All performers must be 18 years of age of younger
There will be different age and type of performance categories, and a variety of awards will be given out for each category.
Registration for the Foothills Youth Short Play and Monolgue Festival at the Rotary Perfoming Arts Centre (3 Elma Street, East, Okotoks).
Number of performances for this festival is limited. Registration will close when all slots are filled or by January 25th, 2019.
