Finance Minister Reaching Out To Albertans Through Pre-Budget Telephone Town Halls

Finance Minister Joe Ceci is inviting Albertans to share their thoughts and priorities on the upcoming budget through telephone town halls on September 21 and 23.

Albertans from across the province will be able to share their ideas directly with the Finance Minister on how the government can improve their quality of life and build the economy.

The province-wide telephone town halls are part of the government’s ongoing pre-budget consultation process, which includes in-person meetings with a cross-section of industry stakeholders, business leaders and the non-profit sector, as well as online and written submissions.

“This is an opportunity to engage Albertans in the budget process and hear directly from them about the important issues facing their families. Through these consultations I’m hearing good ideas about how we can diversify our economy by building on our strengths, create job opportunities and protect public services during these tough economic times.”

Joe Ceci, President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance

How it works
