Bragg Creek & Kananaskis Outdoor Recreation is once again hosting the Best of VIMFF 2014 (Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival) on September 6th, 2014! It all takes place at the Bragg Creek Community Centre at 23 White Avenue. The doors open at 6pm with the show starting at 7pm (the show ends at approximately 9:45).
Don’t forget to bring cash or cheques for the Silent Auction and for tickets purchased at the door.
VIMFF 2014 Best of the Fest will inspire, scare, thrill and warm your heart. Unique award-winning and favourite short outdoor films, chronicle life altering experiences and cultures from all corners of the globe. The films follow adventurers as they conquer impossible feats, endure heart wrenching losses, or open their hearts to help a cause. Come spend an evening clinging from a cliff face without risking a broken nail. Kids are Welcome to Attend! (parental discretion advised for possible language and mature topics)
Tickets are $14 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets also available at Bragg Creek Family Foods (15 Balsam Ave, Bragg Creek). Tickets purchased online will be held at the door (*bring receipt*). Come early to check out the silent auction with a variety of great items (cash and cheque only).
All proceeds from the auction will go towards two non-profit groups that build/repair/maintain trails in the area (Moose Mountain Bike Trail Society and Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association).
