Farm Safety Day comes to AltaLink Hall at Stampede Park

IMG_1828(Calgary) – The Calgary Stampede and AltaLink are pleased to present Farm Safety Day on Thursday, May 26. Registration is now open for this new educational event.

Aimed at rural youth in grades six to nine, interactive activities will be offered on a variety of topics including livestock and farm equipment safety, working with electricity, distracted driving, and first aid.

Teachers are invited to secure a spot for their class in this free event, presented by AltaLink, by pre-registering.  Funding is also available to assist with bussing costs. More information can be found on the Calgary Stampede website.
