HIGH RIVER, AB: Tired of waiting in line at the landfill with your household waste and recycling? Extended hours at the Foothills Regional Landfill & Resource Recover Centre will be in effect from Monday, May 8 and will continue through to Thursday, June 29, 2017. The Landfill is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 6:30 pm to accommodate the increased volume of traffic at this time of year. Also open Friday-Saturday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Extended hours are for smaller residential loads; garbage, leaf and yard waste and recycling. Large commercial loads are not accepted after 4:30 pm.
