Emerald Foundation Has Joined Forces with Green Calgary’s Energy Revolution Fair

Generation Green is the future of the energy sector and we invite youth to challenge the status quo to think up solutions, innovate our thinking, and demonstrate leadership in renewable energy. This Fair is open to all Alberta Junior & Senior High School students and is a chance for youth to explore, learn, and experience the latest in renewable energy technology.
Each student team will make a 3 minute “pitch” before a panel of industry experts, outlining their project on the development of a renewable energy product, technology, or service. Sample topics include: solar energy, biochemistry, carbon sinks, wind power, and geothermal heating.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning student teams. The AEF is joining forces with Green Calgary to increase the prize money through our Youth Environmental Engagement Grant program.
Application Deadline: April 5, 2018. See more information below and on the website.
