Discover the underground club scene of the 1920s in a night of mystery, intrigue and romance at the Art Gallery of Alberta

Nocturne: Berlin Noir October 24, 2015

Berlin Noir NocturneEdmonton, AB – The Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) invites you to discover the underground club scene of the 1920s in a night of mystery, intrigue and romance…Berlin Noir.  Nocturne: Berlin Noir is Your AGA’s annual Halloween masquerade, and takes place this year on Friday, October 24. Celebrate Halloween in style – embrace the dark glamour and drama of the era and Dress Noir for Nocturne!

Inspired by the AGA’s exhibition Living Building Thinking: Art and Expressionism, Nocturne captures the mood and attitude of post-World War I Berlin – the epicentre of bold new artistic ideas that defined the German Expressionist movement. The evening will feature a live band and DJ, fortune tellers, a roving burlesque troop, and much, much more.

Visit Theatre Garage to find your style for the evening and receive 30% off all purchases with your Nocturne ticket. For masquerade inspiration visit the AGA’s Pinterest

Nocturne: Berlin Noir will transform the Gallery into an Underground Nightclub for the one evening. To add to the fun, each Nocturne ticket includes a secret password for exclusive entrance to the party.

Nocturne is a fundraising event and the proceeds from the party allow Your AGA to continue to offer the best in exhibitions, programs, and education to Edmonton and Alberta. A charitable tax receipt will be issued for each ticket purchased.  Nocturne is presented by Langham Developments Ltd.
