Dallas Seavey First into Nome – Iditarod XLIII Champion

Nome, Alaska – IDITAROD XLIII Musher Dallas Seavey (Bib # 46) of Willow, Alaska arrived into Nome, Alaska and crossed under the burled arch at 04:13am AKDT (Wednesday, March 18th). Seavey had 10 dogs in harness, claiming his third Iditarod Championship in four (4) years.

Thousands of fans lined the street to greet Dallas and his team on an early morning in Nome.

Seavey’s team traveled the Iditarod Trail in 8 days, 18 hours, 13 minutes, 6 seconds.

Mushers on the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race will continue their trek to Nome and finish under the Burled Arch in the hours and in the days to come.

The following teams have also finished as of March 18, 2015 at 12:08:11

  • 2nd – Mitch Seavey – Bib 18 – March 18th at 08:22:56 – 8 days, 22 hours, 22 minutes, 56 seconds with 10 dogs.
  • 3rd – Aaron Burmeister – Bib 63 – March 18th at 09:47:31 – 8 days, 23 hours, 47 minutes, 31 seconds with 9 dogs.
  • 4th – Jessie Royer – Bib 3 – March 18th at 11:51:09 – 9 days, 1 hour, 51 minutes, 9 seconds with 12 dogs.
