Cochrane RCMP – Stolen Vehicle & Copper Wire Theft: Suspects Arrested


RCMP Logo 200x200On 2015-11-03 at 600PM, Cochrane RCMP received a report of a stolen SUV out of Calgary, being tracked by Onstar . Cochrane RCMP located the vehicle, which fled from them when they attempted to stop it . Cochrane RCMP back off and tracked the vehicle with the help of On STAR. The vehicle was located with the suspects still inside at a residence on the Morley Reserve. Four people where taken into custody without incident or damage to property . The follow suspects have been charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Flight from Police.

1) Gatine APPLEGARTH age 21 from Hobbema
2) Kali Geisbrecht age 19 from Bragg Creek
3) Keifer holloway age 25 from Morley
4) Skylar Porter age 24 from Calgary

On 2015-11-04 03145 hrs, Cochrane RCMP responded to a Theft of copper wire. at a Telus Construction site on Township Road 250 near, Range Road 33. When RCMP members arrived they located a vehicle and two males fled on foot from the scene. RCMP Police Dog Service was called to assist and conducted a track, locating the two males and taking them into custody.

Both suspects are currently in custody awaiting bail hearings , facing numerous criminal Code charges of Possession of Stolen property, possession of Break and Enter Instruments, Mischief to Property, possession of Controlled substances (Methamphetamine) and Charges under the Traffic safety Act. Names will be released once an information is Sworn.
