Remember that wonderful greenhouse on main street in Turner Valley? Well, it’s still in town and open with some wonderful handmade Christmas gifts and decor. The greenhouse is now called Daisies ‘n Dirt and has moved to 105 Edgar Avenue, that’s just off main street, where the old Town shop used to be.
Owner, Katherine, has decorated the greenhouse for Christmas and there is a fire to warm up to on chilly days. All the items for sale are handmade, from wooden signs to ornaments and accessories for your home and garden. There will also be Christmas greenery and baskets available in mid-November.
This little oasis in Turner Valley is open Saturdays and Sundays between 11am-ish and 4pm-ish. You can avoid the crowds and keep your Christmas shopping local. Daisies ‘n Dirt will close in early December and reopen in the spring with plants, seeds and all your gardening needs.
