Longview will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary at Little New York Daze this weekend. Longview was incorporated as a Village in 1964 however it truly has been in existence since the crazy days of the Oil Boom in the early 20th century!
There will be three amazing days of exciting events for all the family to enjoy, with visitors welcome. The Little New York Daze will incorporate the 50th Anniversary of the Village. Events start on Friday evening with the start of the weekend’s slo-pitch tournament and rodeo*. There will be full days of activities on the Saturday and Sunday with everything from a parade to historical displays, children’s events, shows and mutton bustin’, food events, rodeo*, etc on the Saturday. There will be a market in the park, music in the park, show and shine car show, etc on the Sunday.
*Note: The rodeo is located at the top of the hill just North of the Village (watch for the signs).
