“We’re excited to get the season up and running after a difficult start. Castle Mountain Resort, General Manager, Brad Brush said “We opened for our Sneak Peek Weekend and then warmer temperatures rolled in causing Castle not to open as planned last weekend. Temperatures dropped and 15cms snow arrived on Saturday, providing a base to allow us to become operational.”

Discounted lift tickets are available until more lifts are able to operate. Plus if you have a Cruisin the Castle card you will receive an additional $5 off the reduced ticket rates.

New to Castle’s beginner area this season is a Wonder Carpet – Buckaroo. Situated out of the base area the new carpet will provide a greater learning experience for beginners at Castle this season and many more to come. Castle also continues to introduce upgrades to the mountain, in particular a lot of work was carried out this summer on tree glading which will provide a better experience for Castle’s skiers and riders.

Cruisin Castle Cards are on sale until 31st December 2014. The 1st, 4th and 7th days are free, plus up to $30 off full price lift tickets the rest of the season.
