(EDMONTON) – The 2015 Annual Learning Conference hosted by the College of Alberta School Superintendents (CASS) and Alberta Education will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton Hotel on March 11 – 13, 2015.
The theme for the Annual Learning Conference is ‘Pathways for Leading and Learning.’
The Honourable Gordon Dirks, Education Minister will open the conference with an address on March 11 at 7.00 pm.
Deputy Minister of Education Lorna Rosen will also attend the conference and will speak to the 300 delegates on Friday, March 13 at 8.50 am.
Two keynote speakers will be featured at the conference:
Dave Messing will speak to “Transforming Apathy into Action: Building a Culture of Participation” following the Minister’s address on March 11 and
Mark Cabaj, an Associate with Tamarack Institute for Community Engagement and Vibrant Communities Canada will make a presentation on March 12 at 8.30 am.

Approximately 300 delegates including CASS members, Alberta Education staff, school leaders and representatives of education partners in Alberta and across Canada will attend the Annual Learning Conference, making it the highest attended conference in recent years.
