The next Council of the Federation summer meeting of Premiers will be held in Edmonton on July 17-19, 2017.

The Council of the Federation was created in 2003 to promote provincial-territorial co-operation and closer ties among members, foster meaningful relations among governments based on respect for the Constitution and recognition of the diversity within the federation, and show leadership on issues important to all Canadians.
