In 2013, we introduced you to Caber, Canada’s first “Trauma K9,” in a National Victims of Crime Awareness Week (Victims Week) Sharing Our Stories video. Since that time, the use of victim service dogs has increased significantly across the country.
Camrose and District Victim Services, one of only two amalgamated Victim Service units in Alberta, welcomed their victim service dog, Lucy, in April 2013.
Join us as we learn more about how the Camrose and District Victim Services is optimizing Lucy’s role to provide more effective services to victims of crime.
