Kiana Milne and Fletcher Zabek, grade 4 students at C. Ian McLaren School participated in the Turner Valley Legion Remembrance Day Essay Contest, and placed second and fourth respectively in the Div. 2 category! Wonderful achievement, especially when you consider that it was their first time writing an essay for a contest! Several other students from within FSD were also honoured at the May 5th awards ceremony held at the Legion.
