Waterton Lakes National Park – Parks Canada is pleased to be working with the Blackfoot Canadian Cultural Society to present the fifth annual Blackfoot Arts and Heritage Festival in Waterton Lakes National Park. The colourful three day festival runs from Tuesday August 11 through Thursday August 13 at the Waterton Community Centre.The event is free of charge and all are encouraged to attend.
The festival provides engaging ways to experience and appreciate Blackfoot culture in Waterton Lakes National Park. It also honours the longstanding relationship between Parks Canada and the Blackfoot peoples. A festival highlight is the exhibition pow-wow dance competition on Thursday starting at 4:00 p.m.
