EDMONTON, AB: Tuesday, Wildrose Shadow Health Minister Drew Barnes made the following statement on the government’s motion to address the government’s principles on implementation of planned federal legislation surrounding assisted dying:
“The issue surrounding assisted dying is an emotional one for many Albertans. As an issue of conscience, we expect all parties to have a thorough debate about the implications of this motion.
“All Wildrose MLAs will respectfully debate and seek to get a clear sense of what precisely the government intends to do if this motion passes.”
