On 2014-09-02 Banff RCMP received a report of a missing person, Ralph Greenaway 40 years old. Greenaway told friends he was going to the Mount Rundle area for the day. Friends describe Greenaway as an avid outdoors person.
RCMP and Parks Canada initiated a ground and air search, with the assistance of volunteer search and rescue personnel. Greenaway’s vehicle was located near Mount Rundle, however he has not been located despite ongoing search efforts.
Search efforts continue, but have been hampered by the recent poor weather.
Ralph Greenaway is described as 185 cm tall, weighing approximately 85 kg.
