The Board of Directors of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) is pleased to announce the winners of its 2015 Awards.
The Awards were presented last night at the Association’s President’s Dinner, the first event of its Annual Convention and AMSC Trade Show being held Wednesday through Friday at Calgary’s Convention Centre.
Awards are presented annually for distinguished service and achievement in a variety of categories:
Dedicated Team Award – a joint AUMA/SLGM (Society of Local Government Managers) award recognizing long-term excellence and dedication to municipal government management as a team. For 2015 the winners are:

Dedicated Chief Administrative Officer Award – a joint AUMA/SLGM (Society of Local Government Managers) award recognizing long-term excellence and dedication to municipal government and chief administrative management. For 2015 the winner is:

Municipal Sustainability Awards – awards in two categories recognizing exceptional performance municipal sustainability
- Sustainability in Action Awards – recognizing members who have demonstrated excellence in implementing municipal sustainability plans. The focus of the award this year is on environmental sustainability. Winners for 2015 are:

City of Red Deer
Village of Marwayne
- Above and Beyond Award – recognizing staff, residents or organizations who help municipalities achieve their sustainability goals.
