HIGH RIVER, AB: Town of High River Community Programming will be holding their annual charity check stop in support of the Jumpstart sport children’s charity on Saturday, May 28.
“This is a special day for children and youth in our community,” said Iva Woodward, community programmer with the Town. “All funds raised stay in High River and directly support our residents.”
Members of the High River Fire Department and RCMP will be conducting a charity check stop on Centre Street between 12 to 2 p.m. and will be soliciting monetary donations from the community.
All funds collected go directly to help High River kids participate in sport, dance or other organized physical activities. Jumpstart funding helps families that need a financial hand with registration, equipment and transportation costs.
