Calgary AB, February, 2016 – The Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) and its 10,000 REALTOR® members across the province congratulate MLA Stephanie McLean on her appointment as Minister of Service Alberta and Status of Women.
AREA is looking forward to working with Minister McLean in her Service Alberta role, which was announced along with other Cabinet moves by Premier Rachel Notley (on Tuesday).
“There are a number of important issues for Albertans in the Service Alberta portfolio today, including Condominium Property Act regulations, marijuana grow-op issues, and the upcoming review of the Real Estate Act,” said Ian Burns, AREA’s CEO. “Minister McLean’s legal background will be a great asset to this portfolio and we look forward to building a strong relationship with her over the next few years.”
