Airdrie RCMP seize Cocaine, Fentanyl

On June 17, 2016, Airdrie Crime Reduction Unit, with the extensive assistance from Calgary RCMP General Investigation Section, Calgary Police Service and Calgary Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) obtained search warrants under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for a residence in Airdrie and a residence in Calgary.  At 3:25 PM Airdrie RCMP, RCMP Police Dog Service and ALERT executed the warrant in Airdrie.
Calgary Police Service Tactical Unit, and the ALERT simultaneously executed the warrant in Calgary.  Four individuals were safely taken into custody without incident.
Police seized over 200 grams of cocaine, Fentanyl, MDMA, Canadian currency, and assorted trafficking paraphernalia.
Andrew Knapp, age 31, and Honour Toth, age 26, both of Calgary, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. Both are scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial court on July 14, 2016.
Karlee Kettner, age 28, of Airdrie, has been charged with five offences including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and trafficking. She is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial court on July 7, 2016.
Wade Gunoff, age 34, of Airdrie, has been charged with ten offences including trafficking, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance.  He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial court on June 23, 2016
