Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are currently investigating numerous suspicious fires in the Airdrie City and Airdrie Rural area. Airdrie Fire Services, Rocky View Fire Services have also responded and are investigating.
October 1st, 2015, Airdrie City RCMP responded to a small suspicious fire in the Main Street Plaza parking lot.
October 7th, 2015, Airdrie City RCMP responded to Chinook winds to a garbage can fire.
October 8th, 2015, Airdrie City RCMP responded to Sobey’s Liquor store on Mackenzie Way for a newspaper stand on fire.
October 10th, 2015 Airdrie City RCMP responded to a barn fire on Township Road 264.
October 10th, 2015, Airdrie Rural RCMP responded to Symons Valley Road for an unoccupied RV on fire.
October 11th, 2015, Airdrie Rural responded to Range Road 292 and Township Road 264 for straw bales on fire.
October 12th, 2015 Airdrie City RCMP responded to the Ravenswood neighbourhood where a number of under-construction town homes were on fire. The town homes were unoccupied, no injuries.
October 12th, 2015, Airdrie Rural RCMP responded to a structure fire on 264 Township Road in Balzac, and unoccupied shed.
October 13th, 2015, Airdrie Rural RCMP responded straw bales on fire on Highway 566.
Airdrie RCMP is requesting anyone with any information to please contact the Airdrie RCMP. RCMP is also asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious persons or vehicles.
