UPDATE – Airdrie RCMP Ask Residents to Avoid East Lake Ramp, Requesting Witnesses Attend
Airdrie, Alberta – RCMP would like to advise that East Lake Ramp / East Lake Crescent are now open. The RCMP would like to thank the public for their patience.
The RCMP continues to request anyone who may have witnessed the collision to report to the Airdrie RCMP.
Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP is requesting residents avoid East Lake Ramp and East Lake Crescent in Airdrie.
RCMP, Airdrie Municipal Enforcement, Airdrie Fire Services, Provincial Emergency Medical Services and ATCO Gas are currently responding to a motor vehicle collision and the area will be closed to traffic until further notice.
A transport truck travelling in the southbound lanes of Highway 2 near Highway 567 crossed the centre median, crossed northbound lanes, left the highway and crossed East Lake Ramp / East Lake Crescent. RCMP are asking any witnesses to this event to attend the Airdrie RCMP Detachment or call the Airdrie RCMP at 403 945-7267.
RCMP will advise when roadway is clear.
