The clock is ticking and the excitement is mounting as Airdrie prepares to welcome Albertans to the Airdrie 2014 Alberta Summer Games.
With approximately 3,000 athletes, coaches and officials arriving there has been much done to prepare. The most current schedule (pdf) for all sporting events is available and we will continue to keep you “in the know” throughout the Games.
For the many family members, friends and fans that come to cheer on the athletes, our Sport venues map will guide you in getting to the correct event venue.
Rounding out the Games are the many cultural events/activities that have been planned for your entertainment between competitions. From the Torch Relay and lighting of the Alberta Summer Games Cauldron to the Closing Ceremonies our goal is to keep you informed and entertained. To help our visitors we are offering Park ‘n Ride services.
The Games run from the 24th to 27th with Opening Ceremony being held Thursday, July 24th at 7:00pm. The tickets for the Opening Ceremony have sold out.
