Air Show Tickets Now on Sale


High River, AB: The Canadian Forces Snowbirds, CF18 Hornet and SkyHawks parachute demonstration team will be providing a thrilling performance on Wednesday, July 23 for the High River Regional Airshow at the High River Regional Airport.

“This is going to be a huge event for our community and surrounding area and it’s a great opportunity to showcase our town,” said Mayor Craig Snodgrass. “We sincerely appreciate all of the support we’ve had to make this event happen.”

“The Snowbirds are very excited to be coming to High River for an airshow and in support of the town,” said Captain Thomas Edelson, the Snowbirds Public Affairs Officer. “We hope for great weather and a strong turnout.”

Advance half-price tickets are now on sale exclusively in High River Sobeys, Museum of the Highwood, Town office and the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex until July 22. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the gate on July 23.

Gates will open at 4 p.m. and the show will start at 6 p.m. Ticket holders are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and ear plugs. There is also an opportunity to meet the pilots at a free pre-event picnic in George Lane Park on July 22 – stay tuned for more details at www.highrivertourism.com

Ticket Prices - Air ShowA limited number of special tickets to the Heritage Inn VIP Chalet are available for $65 each exclusively at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex. VIP tickets include complimentary on-site parking at the High River Airport, a catered dinner, one beverage ticket for the cash bar, a High River Regional Air Show souvenir program and a special High River Regional Air Show souvenir.
