Kaylene Lillico, a grad from Oilfields High, was the recipient of the “Roads” scholarship worth $500. She plans to study biology at the University of Victoria and then continue onto PEI’s Atlantic Veterinary College.
Roads Scholarship are presented to any current grade 12 student from the MD of Foothills area. Students must proceed directly from their grade 12 year to the fall term at a post-secondary institution or program. There are two (2) x $500.00 awards paid upon presentation of proof of registration.
Students must be attending a post-secondary institution or program outside the province of Alberta. Preference will be given to nominees in agricultural related programs.
Nominees are asked to submit a letter outlining “how the award will benefit their experience in a program outside Alberta”.
