Currently with a staff of two, the Alberta Emerald Foundation relies on the support of many volunteers to help bring our programs, like the Emerald Awards, to life. It was very difficult to choose just one person to name as our Volunteer of the Year as we could not do what we do without the contributions of all of our volunteers. But, we did.
Andy Etmanski, our Vice-Chair, has been a great support to both our staff with his energy, positivity and encouragement. He is always willing to help out, either behind-the-scenes on our board, or front and center, representing our Foundation. And although fresh to his new role on our board, he has truly risen to the occasion.
It is with great gratitude that we recognize Andy Etmanski with the Volunteer of the Year Award.
