Thanks to a generous grant from the Calgary Foundation
The Board of Directors is please pleased to announce that we have received a $25,000 grant from the Calgary Foundation to install seven 4K cameras and a professional-grade video switcher at the Polaris Centre for the Performing Arts.
The total project cost is $30,000.
Increasing the opportunities for concert attendance in more remote locales (whether in-person or digitally) was identified one of the Orchestra’s strategic priorities for the 2021-22 season. Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic has spurred us into action a little earlier than we had anticipated!
With the Calgary Foundation’s support, we are only $5,000 from our target.
