A truck and horse trailer were stolen from a property off Plummer’s Road near Priddis. See the original story here.
Update from John Robin Allen, High Country Rural Crime Watch Association:
The truck licence plate is GNE 221. The truck is a Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with four-wheel dually drive (i.e., instead of having one tire on each side of an axle, there are two on each side, or four per axle).
The horse trailer is a 2005 Bloomer with the Bloomer deco on it. Its plate says Highway Barn.
Apparently there were no horses in the trailer when it was stolen but one of our members wrote to say:
“What is particularly disturbing for me is not only the fact that this truck and horse trailer were stolen but, if the thieves are not soon apprehended, then there is the possibility that as many horses as would fit in the horse trailer (and it is huge) could be stolen from pastures – over and over, and not necessarily in this area! Boggles the mind!”
