Drug Seizure by Okotoks RCMP


IMG_3963.JPGOkotoks, AB– A 49 year old Okotoks woman is facing charges after a traffic stop in the town on Friday May 20.  At approximately 8:30 pm, Okotoks RCMP stopped a vehicle that was speeding.  A subsequent drug investigation was initiated and the driver was placed under arrest.  A search revealed 25 grams of crack, a small amount of marijuana, scales and other paraphernalia.  In addition close to $2,000 in cash was seized as proceeds of crime.

Lori DODDS faces one count of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.  She is scheduled to appear in court on July 15, 2016, at the Okotoks Provincial Court.
