A new 4-H Multi Club has been launched in Turner Valley. This year we are offering indoor Archery and Cooking. We run monthly meetings, which gives our members the opportunity to learn and understand Parliamentary Rules, based on Roberts Rule. The Members run the club and hold all the board positions, which gives them a true insight into the runnings of a organizations.
(Saturday) we conducted our annual Club Public Speaking Competition, we were fortunate to have awesome judges who volunteered their time to come out and listen to the Intermediates Prepared and Impromptu Speeches. Besides the judges we had

Joanne LaVergne, Heather Thomson, Bailey Pfeil, Venus Sampson-Taber
Front: Caitlyn Seto, Irene Waring
volunteers doing the time keeping, impromptu table and a teller calculating the scores. We are so very grateful to our sponsors, Altalink, FCSS Turner Valley, SMP Engineering and the Town of Turner Valley, for their support. Thank you! It is because of our sponsors and the selfless volunteers that we are able to provide this learning tool for our youth in our community.
We have two certified Archery Instructors, providing guidance to our Archery Members, and our cooking classes are proving to be a fun class.
We have a few spaces available in each project, should you be interested in joining, please contact us at 4HValleyACES@gmail.com.
4-H is essentially for boys and girls ages 9 to 20, the program offers our members an enormous advantage in today’s highly competitive environment, it prepares them and gives them the edge for their post-secondary education and workforce.
