Spitzee Elementary School to Benefit from Boston Pizza High River’s Community Partner Program

Spitzee Elementary School’s character education programs the beneficiary of Boston Pizza High River’s Community Partner program

Boston Pizza High River is partnering with Spitzee Elementary School through the month of March to help fund the school’s character education programs for students.

Foothills School Division believes in taking the initiative on bullying prevention through strong character education in every school at every grade level. Spitzee Elementary School encourages students to “reframe” their thoughts – to SEE and BE the positive in any circumstance. Building on that attitude, the school is introducing “Zones of Regulation” – a manner of thinking, a way of speaking and a process of responding to situations to foster social and emotional well-being within the school community.

By simply dining in or ordering out in March, patrons of Boston Pizza High River can support Spitzee’s fundraising efforts:

  • Thoughout March, guests can choose to “round up” their restaurant or take-out bill by whatever amount they choose, and 100% of the round up goes to the school.
  • One dollar from every dine-in $10 Lunch Special (6” pizza and pop) will benefit Spitzee.
  • On “Booster Night”, March 23rd, $5 from every large pizza sold between 5:00-8:00 p.m. – both in the restaurant and take-out orders – will be donated to Spitzee.

Boston Pizza High River believes in a healthy, thriving community and giving back to individuals and organizations that support these efforts.
