Turner Valley School News: ‘Camp-Read-a-Lot’

Family Literacy Day, Jan. 27th

Family Literacy day at Camp Read-A-Lot is about reading with family and friends and it’s about literacy board games and much more so that you can learn about dinosaurs and eyesight. There are so many books to learn about. Now we will tell others how much we like Camp Read-A-Lot.

But before we do that, I have 3 jokes:

What do you call a dog in the summer?
A hot dog!

How do you mend a broken pumpkin?
With a pumpkin patch.

Why do bananas use sunscreen?
Because they peel! FUN!!!

Family Literacy Day was very, very good and I had fun. Fantastic! I like it because you can hang out with your family! I thought it was AWESOME! There was lots of grandparents and parents. It was good. It was okay. It was fun. FUN. I like spending time with my family. It is one of my favorite days of the year. I LOVE BOOKS!!!
