Here’s a little “Good News” story of my own. We all hear a lot of negative comments about Canada Post so I thought I would share my experience.
Last Monday, my husband, John was stranded in Phoenix, Arizona due to a truck breakdown and he ran out of his prescription medications.
I contacted FedEx and was told that for $175 they could get the meds to him in 3 days.
John tried several pharmacies in Phoenix hoping that a fax copy of his prescription from Pharmasave in Black Diamond would allow him to purchase the meds. No go.
I then talked to Rita at the Post Office in Black Diamond. She assured me that they could get the package to Phoenix in 2 days and the cost would be $71.
On Tuesday morning I took a copy of the prescription and the medications to her. After filling out a couple of forms I left the package and awaited with bated-breath for its arrival in Phoenix on Thursday at 10:30 am. Not only had I been given a date of arrival but a time as well.
On Thursday morning at 10:30 John called me to say the package had arrived!
Kudos to Canada Post for their help in this delivery.
