On, September 30th Western Financial Group, with the support of Wawanesa Mutual Insurance company, presented a cheque to Turner Valley School for $10,500 and $3218.25 to the Turner Valley PTA.
Funds raised will go towards the Turner Valley Parent Teacher Association for the construction of the new park this year. Funds were raised by a community Ball Hockey tournament that was organized by the Western Financial Group Branch here in Turner Valley to help support local organizations within our communities here in High Country.
Another Ball Hockey tournament will be held next June.
