‘Tin Star’ filming in High River Aug. 31 – Sept. 2

HIGH RIVER, AB: Production crews from Kudos Film and Television will arrive in High River on Wednesday, August 31 to film scenes from the upcoming drama ‘Tin Star.’

Crews will be parking their work trucks in lots located at 128/130 4 Avenue S.W. and 135 Macleod Trail S.W.

In order to accommodate vehicles and to ensure continuity of picture, there will be intermittent traffic control and temporary parking restrictions at the below locations, specifically:

August 31 – September 2

  • 3 Avenue from 1 Street S.W. to Macleod Trail S.W.


September 2

  • 3 Avenue from 1 Street S.W. to Macleod Trail S.W.
  • 1 Street S.W. from 3 Avenue S.W. to 7 Avenue S.W.
  • 4 Avenue S.W. from 1 Street S.W. to Macleod Trail S.W.

The show is described as ‘an epic tale of deception, betrayal, murder and revenge set against the backdrop of remote and beautiful Canadian mountain town.’ The series will star Tim Roth; who is known for his roles in ‘The Hateful Eight,’ ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and Christina Hendricks; known for her roles in ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Drive.’
