Cochrane RCMP Charge Two Following Fraud Investigations
Cochrane, Alberta – On August 19th, 2016, members from the Cochrane RCMP were able to successfully arrest and charge a male and female after a number of fraud complaints.
RCMP identified Kristin STEVENSON and Taylor IRVINE when they had used a stolen credit card to obtain merchandise from various businesses around Cochrane. The two were located at one of the businesses and arrested without incident.
30 year old Kristin STEVENSON and 34 year old Taylor IRVINE were both charged with three counts of Fraud under $5000 as well as one count of Theft under $5000 for an incident that had been under investigation since July. IRVINE was also charged with Assault.
IRVINE was released to appear in court on October 4th 2016 while STEVENSON remains in custody to appear in court on August 26th 2016.
High River: Theft of 2 – 70 c.c. Dirt Bikes
High River, Alberta – Sometime during the evening of Monday August 22 2016, a break an enter occurred to a business near 9 Ave SE and Centre St. Thieves stole two Honda 70 dirt bikes, similar to the attached photograph. The dirt bikes are described as 2006 Honda CRF70F’s, red, white, and black in colour and one of the two bikes is missing a seat. Neither bike required registration, however a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is available.
