Cochrane, Alberta – Stolen Puppy
Cochrane, Alberta – On November 20th, 2016 Cochrane RCMP was dispatched to a robbery/assault near Township Road 264 in Cochrane. At about 2030 hrs, the Cochrane RCMP were called Township Road 264 when the homeowner, a French bulldog breeder, had welcomed a couple into her home as they were interested in purchasing an 8 week old puppy from the recent litter. While inside the residence, the male and female picked up a puppy and ran away. The homeowner followed them and got shoved to the ground while attempting to stop them from stealing her puppy.
The couple left in blue sport car and was last seen heading Eastbound on Highway 1A.
The male is described as approximately 5’10 or 5’11 with darker skin, possibly Hispanic and has short brown well styled hair. He has a slender build and was wearing a blue jacket with a white polo shirt underneath, blue jeans and white Converse-style sneakers.
The female is also believed to be Hispanic with brown hair, a very slender build and small in size.
The couple barely spoke English and stated they were from El-Salvador.
The puppy is a Bluenose French Bulldog and is valued at $4000. A photo is attached.
