RCMP Banff investigate Assault, Suspect and Witnesses Sought

On September 12th, 2016, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Banff RCMP received a complaint of an assault that occurred earlier in the day. It’s alleged the assault occurred sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on September 12th, 2016 on Caribou Street near the intersection of Beaver Street in the Town of Banff. An unknown male grabbed the female Victim and began to assault her. Shortly after, two bystanders assisted the Victim to flee from the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Tall
  • Brown hair
  • Wearing an oversized dark coloured hoodie

Banff RCMP continue to investigate the crime and would like to the two bystanders to come forward to assist in the investigation.
