Okotoks, Alberta – Two individuals are facing numerous charges after RCMP arrested them for a theft of a truck.
RCMP were asked to assist Calgary Police Service HAWCS Helicopter when a stolen F-150 Pickup truck entered Okotoks RCMP area. Okotoks RCMP officers located the vehicle on Northridge Drive and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop for officers and proceeded to drive erratically southbound on Northridge/Southridge Drive. Shortly after, the occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. RCMP officers made patrols in the area and arrested two individuals.
No one was injured during the arrest. Multiple charges are pending against a 35 year old male and a 21 year female of no fixed address. Both arrested individuals were handed over to Calgary Police Service. The investigation is ongoing.
